TEAM – GREATER VANCOUVER COMETS
It’s a three-peat for the Greater Vancouver Comets, who are BCFMAAA regular
season champs for the third-straight season. The Comets dominated in B.C.,
winning 29 of 32 games to finish 22 points clear of second-place Vancouver
Island. On the way they outscored their opponents by a whopping 129 goals
(174-45). Jenn Gardiner led the way on offence for Greater Vancouver,
winning the BCFMAAA scoring title with 67 points (38G 29A), while seven
other Comets joined her in the top 10. The tandem of Bella Heng (15-2-0,
1.47 GAA) and Kaitlyn Daly (14-0-1, 1.33 GAA) shone between the pipes,
finishing one-two in wins and goals-against average.
